• Grow older. :P

I can't think of anything more. HAHA Maybe I'll think of more later... Hopefully I can achieve most of that. Developing applications, well... A bit far... LOL I wanted to since like 1-2 years ago? Installed the SDK and never started. ROFL

Google TV, Netflix, and K'NEX

Got a Google TV and Netflix. :D Google TV from Sony. LOL It was pretty big... Probably because it can also play Blu-ray disks... Anyways, Netflix is cool too.

Just watched District 9 on Netflix yesterday. Was a pretty good movie. Netflix's quality is good too, considering it was online streaming. No lag for some reason. o_O Not sure how they do that...

Today, I spent my day watching American Dad episodes on Netflix. LOL Nothing else to do... Other than building my K'NEX roller coaster model thingy I got for Christmas. HAHA It was fun. :D Check it out!

Back from Vegas! :)

Hi guys! I just got back from Vegas on Friday. I didn't have any time to post so... Here I am doing it now...

It was raining really really big on the road there. It was also raining at Vegas through out the whole week. Here is a few pictures of when I crossed the borderline on the way home. What used to be desert is now lakes and marshland!

So anyways... That was how big the rain was... So on the way there, I passed a street called Zzyzx Road. How you suppose to read that?

Anyways, here is what I got in Vegas.

I got this stuffed animal elephant at Circus Circus. Employee gave it to me because the machine was broken. :)

What I did in Vegas... Hm... Well I went shopping, play at Circus Circus, and watch shows. The shows I watched are Mystere, Zen Magic, and V Show. They were all pretty good. :) Well I think the magic tricks they showed in Zen Magic was a bit amateur... I didn't really get Mystere's storyline, if there was one... V Show was awesome. :) 

The rain was like really big... It stopped on the day when I came back... It was like literally flooding in Vegas... Too much rain... I couldn't cross the street directly. I walked like half a mile extra to go cross on a sky bridge because of the water... The gutters on the sky bridge wasn't that well designed either... There were a lot of water collected on it too. Good thing most of the stuff we did was indoors... Well Vegas is like indoors. LOL

So on the way back... Desert into lakes... And like before approaching Pleasanton, heavy fog for like 20-30 miles. Saw lot's of car crashes. You couldn't even see what was in front of you! Not exaggerating. What is this world coming to? Beginning of 2012? ROFL! Tell me what you think. :P Did you see how LA got flooded?! I saw that on TV. We were actually planning on going to Disneyland... Good thing we went to Vegas instead. HAHA. Actually we originally wanted to go to Reno, but heavy snowfall... Road closed. So we had to cancel... Then we wanted to go to Disneyland, but the other family that we were planning on going with said, Las Vegas... So we went to Vegas instead... So lucky. 

So when I got home from Vegas... My new hair styling and my Solia flat iron came. :D

So on the way home today, I was in the car, there was this lady carrying her baby on the sidewalk... The baby was facing away from me with a brown jacket on...

For some reason, the first thing that came to my mind was... WHERE THE HECK DID THAT LADY GET THAT GORILLA FROM? XD I have no idea why. LOL How did I mistaken the baby for a gorilla? o_O

The woman wasn't even black, but that was the first thing that came to my mind. Thought I'd share it.

The funny thing is, I was going to share this on my blog, but then I forgot... I just remembered it again. XD Where the heck did my memory go. ROFL

Better Self Confidence

Now that more and more people see me as a girl, I'm feeling better about myself. :) I'm not so scared to go do things anymore...

I'm not even doing that much. I pull my hair straight every morning, and I throw on a girl's jacket (well it's pretty unisex but slightly girly) and people see me as a girl. LOL My shirt and pants are unisex too, but they are guy clothes... Weird. o_O I guess it really just depends on your hair? Not sure...

I still on planning on going further and getting more girly clothing and make myself look like a girl instead of someone unisex but slightly girly. I think that is how I look right now. 

Well, it sure is boosting my confidence. Which is a good sign. My anxiety seems to be going away too. YAY! :D Still need a hair straightening iron. :\ My hair curls up way too fast... ROFL And I spend way too much time on it in the morning... I spend like 30-40 minutes combing it and straightening it with my hair dryer and comb. HAHA

New Glasses

The other day, I went to get my eyes checked and to get new glasses. I didn't feel like picking out the frame that day. So, I went back today to pick out a frame. 

I picked out a brown/red-ish frame. :) It was pretty unisex. LOL I love it. ^_^

At first, I thought I was going to look horrible with glasses, but now, I think I'll wear it. :D Adds to the girly look I'm trying to achieve. YAY!

Anyways, I don't have a picture... I'll post one up on this blog once they finish making it. You know, how they have to make the lens and attach it on there. Yeah... Might be 2-3 weeks before I get my glasses. LOL Wish they can make it faster... 

Funny thing today...

So the other day, I went to get my eyes checked, but I didn't feel like picking out a glasses frame that day. So today, I went back to pick out a frame... After that, on the way home... Guess what I saw?

It was 6 PM and already dark outside. On the sidewalk, there was a guy waving a sign (I think it said furniture sale and was pointing to a warehouse). He was barely visible. XD Who would have seen him? ROFL Bad time to advertise...

Well, there was no traffic on the road... If there was, I would have snapped a picture. Since there wasn't, I didn't have any time. LOL

What a fail. XD

Worst Weekend Ever :\

It's wet outside and my stupid DSL is down! This is so stupid. I got nothing to do! I'm so bored... Sigh...

It's funny how much I rely on the internet to keep my days busy. LOL :\

On the other hand, at least I got all these cool games on my iPod, and I got three wonderful pet birdies I can play with. ROFL.

If you're wondering how I'm posting this. Well, I can't tell you. :P Hopefully my DSL will get fixed soon. In the mean time, I can't post anything up on my photography blog... I will try to blog once a day, but no promises.

Well, hope your weekend isn't as crappy as mine. :\

Yay!!!

So today I went to the optometrist to get my eyes checked and to get new glasses. The optometrist thought I was a girl until she looked down at the form. :D YAY!

Of course it was in Chinese. She was like, "Follow me miss.". Then later she looked down and was like, "Oh, I'm sorry sir, please sit down.". I was like, "Aw... It's ok!". Success! :P YAY! That made me kinda happy. LOL

Luckily, my eyes wasn't too bad. My astigmatism worsened just a little bit, but that's it. Which isn't too big of a deal. LOL Can be fixed with glasses, but I hate them. D: Only wearing them when I'm driving. >:( I don't care what she says.

I didn't pick out a frame today, because I thought my hair was a bit messed up and it would cloud my judgement on the frame. Going back there to pick out a frame next time.

Getting New Glasses

Going to go get my eyes checked and get new glasses tomorrow. Sigh... I hate glasses! They make me look so nerdy. I understand there are contacts, but I seriously don't dare put those things in my eyes. :\

I hated my last pair, makes me look so much like a guy. D: Why can't they make something that will like fix your vision, but not visible to others and don't involve sticking something in your eyes?

Well, I've decided. I'm not gonna wear them unless I'm in class or when I'm driving... Not going to wear them any other time.

我明天要去配新的眼镜。我很不喜欢哦。:\ 不喜欢戴。我知道有隐形眼镜，可是我觉得把那个东西放眼睛里很可怕。。。

所以我决定了。除了在上课和开车的时候，我不戴眼镜。:P

Hair Straightening Iron

Those stupid website people, after reading their pages, I want a hair straightening iron now. >.< My hair is kind of curly, but I want it straight. I didn't want a hair straightening iron before, but now, the websites have done enough convincing. I want one! :\ Man... And not just any cheap hair straightening iron, I want a professional one... ._. Those cost like $90 and up!

I didn't want to use a hair straightening iron before because I thought it would damage your hair even more. Those website convinced me if I just apply some thermal shielding serum on my hair, it would make it fine. o_O Well I guess being beautiful isn't easy...

On the bright side, I know how to get my hair straighter now and less frizzy. Probably going to get one for myself for Christmas. ^_^ And some hair straightening and frizz control serum... All these harsh chemicals and heat, couldn't be good for my hair. ROFL Well, it can't be that bad can it? I mean, a lot of people use it... With beauty, comes with price. Was that the saying? HAHA Well it was the first thing that came to my mind. 

I might get a Sedu or Solia hair straighteners. I've read some really good reviews on those.

The Sedu one cost like $150. The Solia one cost like $90. (I think) Which one should I get?

Live Crab Vending Machine In China

Look what I found! Chinese people rules! We got all the cool stuff. :D ^_^ (Well, actually it's the Japanese...)

Anyways... A vending machine that dispenses live crabs! :O It is in China. XD If the machine dispenses a dead crab, the owner promises three free live crabs.

Oh, I don't speak Japanese, so I don't know what the reporter is talking about. XD I think they were also talking about a machine that dispenses bananas, but I'm not sure.

Something...

Several days ago, I told you that I caught two seagulls while fishing for crabs. Here is the story if you missed it.

If it was one seagull that crashed into my fishing line, I guess it's not likely but possible. Two seagulls crashing into my fishing line almost at the same time, I'd have to say, something like this would only happen once in a million years...

It got me wondering, maybe God wanted me to understand something. Those two seagulls wasn't hurt, I let them go... They are back to a normal life. I've been gone from school for some time. Maybe God wants to tell me that I will have a normal life again, but it depends on if I'm going to keep being scared or go do it. Those two seagulls were really scared, but the first one didn't fight back and was quickly released. The second one, however, did fight back because it was scared. It took us longer to free it, but it was freed. Maybe this is a message for me to go do what I need to do and not be scared for I know it is the only way back to a normal life. If I keep going with the scared feeling and fighting back reality, I will one day still have a normal life, but I'm going to waste more time than it should take.

From this day forward, I will try my best to go do what I need to get done with out being scared.

Thank you Jesus for helping me understand. What a wonderful savior you are. Praise the Lord! Amen. :_)

My favorite colors...

I would like to tell you about my favorite colors. I always liked colors like red and pink. I think they are cool. I also like light blue and light green. I think the colors yellow and black is pretty cool too. I hate purple. I don't know why. XD

Now your question is probably, why isn't all of your blogs red and pink? Well to be honest, I did want some of my blogs to be red and pink, but the problem here is, I would have trouble distinguishing them from one another. LOL! When I post, I usually like to distinguish my blogs by color. It makes the process so much easier. (Reading text is slower)

Catching Crabs in San Francisco

So today I went catching crabs in San Francisco. This story will not be boring, trust me! I caught some really awkward things today. I did catch two crabs today, but this is pretty much expected. What was not expected was I also caught someone's long lost crab trap, and two seagulls!

So here is how I caught the two seagulls. So first when I casted my line down, I felt some vibration so I slowly reeled back my line to find someone's long lost crab trap on there (there might have been a crab on there too, but it might have let go). So I added some sardine bait into the trap and started using that. I casted and while the trap with the lead weight in it was still flying through the air, surprisingly, these two seagulls (not at the same time, was about three seconds apart) crashed into my line and got tangled. XD I don't have a video because at that time I was like worried. The only thing going through my head was like what should I do? Should I cut the line or should I reel them in? I am on a pretty high pier in San Francisco. It is that pier near Fort Point right under the Golden Gate Bridge. I went fishing with my friend's family by the way. So I was like what should I do? My mom was like cut the line! You'll hurt them. My dad and the other family was like reel them in, you'll need to untangle them from the line or the seagulls will be anchored to the weight and die. Oh yeah, a third seagull almost got caught in it too, because it flew down to try to save these two stranded seagulls because the sea lion was at the surface... They pecked at the sea lion and it left. So I started reeling them in. The line was tangled around the tips of their wings... I hope I didn't hurt them. So the first one was easy to untangled. I think it was immobilized by fear, so we quickly untangled it and threw it back into the ocean. The second one was a whole different story. I bet it was a male, because immediately, when my friend's dad started handling it, it tried to repeatedly peck him! Stupid bird! Only trying to help you! Jeez! Well after like ten seconds of struggling to try to get it to stop pecking, we managed to untangle it and threw it back into the ocean... 

Well it was a fun day for me. :) Now my clothes and my hands smell like fish and ocean water. >.< ROFL Catching the seagulls was so unexpected...

How I catch the crabs? Well, I didn't catch anything with the crab net today, which is weird. Both of them, I reeled it in with fishing hooks. The stupid thing is, the hooks didn't even hook them. They became our dinner because they were too stubborn to let go! They held on really tight! HAHA!

If I was in China, I would be having roasted seagull for dinner too! I wonder how seagull taste like... :P

Stupid Disney!

Due to their commercials, now I have "IT'S A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL! IT'S A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL!" Playing over and over again in my head. ._. THIS IS SO ANNOYING! MAKE IT STOP!

My new theme for Winterboard :D

ModMyi is now hosting my new Winterboard theme. :D Yes! Should be in the Cydia database in a few hours... Anyways, it is a Pokemon theme. To be exact, a Pikachu lockscreen. LOL If you are a  Pokemon fan, you'll love this. This lockscreen is a tricky one, you tap on the Pikachu to unlock... I also redesigned the pin-pad too (if you have a pin).

My current iPod touch theme!

Take a look at my current iPod touch theme using Winterboard. HAHA

Here is the order I put them in:

1. Transparent Dock
2. Dim Icons (.8 transparency)
3. User Wallpaper (I will give you the wallpaper on this post)
4. White Icon Labels
5. Leopard Lock Screen (SnowLock) (Note: I changed my lockscreen to the one I made on 11/15/2010. See the update here.)
6. Leopard Theme (I can't seem to find the link, but that is the name, do some looking around in Cydia and you should find it with the help of my screenshots)
7. Gardevoir Notes
8. No Docked Icon Labels

You can see some of the icons are different. They are from the Leopard Theme. I liked the icons, so I left that theme turned on, but not listed as the first.

You can also see the the icons are kind of transparent.

There are no icon labels for the dock. I did this so the dock will look a bit different from the icons that actually scroll.

This is the Leopard Lock Screen (SnowLock).

The name can be edited as long as you have Photoshop.

I figured that out after I took the screenshot. LOL

As of right now, you probably guessed. I love Pokemon. HAHA I like Pikachu the most. What's your favorite? Tell me in the comments below. LOL

For icon transparency, the default Dim Icons theme will put your icon transparency to .5, if you want my .8 transparency, you will need to use iFunBox and go to Raw File System >> var >> stash >> Themes.xxxxxx (there should be a number or letter combination for the x's) >> Dim Icons.theme. You should see something called info.plist. Copy that into your computer, and open it with Notepad (if you are using Windows). Now find where it says 0.5 and change that value to 0.8. Now save. Now go back to iFunBox and rename the original file into something else (you never want to loose the original! I renamed it OriginalInfo.plist.). Copy your new info.plist into the folder. Now go and enable it, or if it was enabled, respring, and you should see it take effect.

This is also how you change your custom wallpaper. You just go to the User Wallpaper.theme folder instead of the Dim Icons.theme folder. There you will find a Wallpaper.PNG which you can delete. Now copy in the wallpaper that you want. It can be in PNG, JPG (I think), and MP4 (I think) format. I wouldn't suggest the MP4 format wallpaper though. It is pretty much a video wallpaper, but trust me, will drain your battery before you know it!

Note... I changed my lockscreen to the one I made on 11/15/2010. See the update here.

Stuff :)

Finally the Blogger uploader is working again and I can get back to uploading my pictures. :) The only problem is, it's slower than before. -__- Still think the old uploader was better. Anyways, here is today's Yellowstone post!

I'm happy I finally kinda returned to school now. Mid-Peninsula High School is really light on homework. Loving it! I've got time to do things I like.

我就的我新的学校很好。没那么多功课。:) 我有时间做我想做的事了。

Thirdly, I started making the Yellowstone videos... After being delayed for weeks. I didn't know what was wrong with my computer, and I kept testing to see where it went wrong inside, because the computer kept rebooting on it's own. Well now I think I've fixed it. The power supply that came along with the computer probably couldn't keep up with the energy required to run the computer, so it kept shutting down because it went over its limit. Now that I've replaced the power supply with a slightly stronger one, working now. Haven't rebooted once on its own. LOL YAY! But now, the videos is a pain in the ass. -__- Due to the large amounts of pictures and videos, it is kind of hard for me to sort through and make them into separate videos. LOL

Oh yeah, one more thing. I think Facebook should use the old "Wall-to-Wall" button instead of the current "See Friendship" button. "See Friendship" sounds kind of gay. No offense Facebook. XD

Stupid global warming...

Right now, it is 90°F outside in Fremont, California. It is the month of October and I still need to use my air conditioner! What kind of weather is this. -__- This weather is so awkward! Isn't it almost winter now? Why is it this hot? It reached 100°F just a few days ago (I think)! I blame global warming. Sigh... Weird weather...

Fremont 的天气怎么这么怪呢！这已经差不多冬天了！外面现在是 90°F！几天前达到过 100°F！我都热死了！十月份还在开着空调吹着呢。。。-__-

Stupid Blogger...

My blog post is up right now, but still, I SPENT 2 DAYS TRYING TO UPLOAD! Yesterday, I can't blame Blogger, it was my fault. I started the upload in the morning before heading off to Gilroy for some clothes shopping. Well, when I got home "Sorry, you have used up all your storage space on Picasa", so I was like ok, tomorrow, I'll buy more storage space and continue posting. So today, I purchased 20 GB for $5 a year and I continued to upload. The photo uploader on Blogger kept leaving me hanging! I tried clearing my cache, updating my Java version and stuff. Didn't work, kept leaving me hanging there frozen... It uploaded slowly after countless retries, and right now, just finished posting up that blog post. Sigh. Stupid Blogger! Your old uploader did not give me these problems! Ever since the new uploader, I've been getting stupid upload problems like this. Why did you guys at Google have to update?

Dang, my past few days have been really suckish... My laptop's Ubuntu partition corrupted... I tried reinstalling, but it didn't seem to work, it just froze! Well it is a really old laptop BTW (not the one I use for my blogging and stuff). I just play with that old laptop. I don't have any important data on that computer... Oh well...

And you know what else? My stupid i7 quad-core is still rebooting randomly by itself! I can not make my Yellowstone videos! That has to be delayed too! My dad is like, I'll fix it, I'll fix it! Well, he didn't really fix it yet... He tried, but no... He failed...

Another thing... Having to deal with insurance company after crashing the car the other day. -__- My first car crash. No one got hurt though... Small dents and some chipped paint. That is all.

But please, if you didn't see my blog post yet, you have to! I got some really beautiful Yellowstone photos on there!

Got scared the shit out of me twice today. -__-

So I was driving... It was around 90-100 in the Bay Area... It was the afternoon and the sun was blinding... Reflecting off the road, I couldn't see really far... Didn't see the road curve, tried to adjust the A/C... Kept going straight, almost crashed. D: Luckily my mom was like, turn the steering wheel to the left! I was like what the hell! 2 second reaction... Slammed on the breaks (I got advanced breaking, so it doesn't matter) and I jerked the steering wheel after I felt the car slow down quite a bit. -__- On the bright side! There was no cars with-in 200 feet of me (after the sudden jerk on the steering wheel). XD

Well just today, the second time, traffic lights, I needed to make a right turn... It was yieled and my mom was like STOP! YOU NEED TO STOP! I was like WTF? Drove onto the sidewalk. -__- I was like, it was yield! Don't scream random directions at me! XD But I don't blame her, even though it was 10-20 minutes after I almost crashed, my heart was still racing. -__-

What a day! -__- Still things like this happen on the street all the time. Luckily no accidents right? :) Thank God! I really need to learn the voice commands for my car. That way, I wouldn't need to look down...

Pancakes and Parakeets

So, first off, pancakes. :) I made pancakes today for the first time in my life. They were amazingly good. :O Loved them. Except the first 2... They were completely black. XD Then the second 2 was oddly shaped and partially uncooked... Well the rest of them were good. I think I made around 10-15? Dinner went great. :) Here are a few pictures.

Now onto my parakeet story... So the other day, I was giving my 2 parakeets (1 recently flew away. -__-) and my cockatiel... I usually do this once every 1-2 weeks. They enjoy it. LOL Especially the part when I dry them off with a not too hot hair dryer... Well anyways, I accidentally startled my blue parakeet (Blue) and she flew off and landed on my cockatiel (Lemon)'s back. XD He ended up giving her a piggy back ride (or birdie back ride). ROFL... Later Lemon got annoyed pecked her a few times... She wouldn't get off, so I had to remove her... Maybe her talons are to sharp? Well here are 2 pictures. :D (The green parakeet's name is Chirpy) Make sure you read the captions too. XD

Deer Poop And The Model Buffalo

Now looking back at my Yellowstone pictures. Well before that, you know how photographers take several pictures consecutively just in case the first picture is bad? Well I think I took a picture of a deer pooping with the poop still half way in the air. XD Take a look. Look closely at behind the deer with the GPS collar, you'll see this blob of stuff. (You can click the photo to view the full size)

Now onto the story of how I almost walked into a bison. So there was bisons all around me... There was one in the middle of the sidewalk. It was lunch time, and I was kind of sleepy. It being a real bison didn't really occur to me. I was like, that model of a bison sure look life like... Then I got super close, maybe like less than 10 feet away. I was like, wait! something is wrong. Why is no one petting it and taking pictures with it? o_O Then I saw it turn its head towards me and grunted twice through its nose (probably a warning), and in my mind I was like WTF? IT WAS NOT A MODEL? I was about to turn around and run, but as any wilderness survival book would tell you, do not turn around and run at a time like that. A warning is not threatening, if you run, you may trigger the wildlife's killing instincts. You are suppose to back off slowly and don't show any signs of fear. Dude, that seriously scared the shit out of me!

This school is so awesome!

I went to the try out day at Mid-Pen today. THIS SCHOOL IS SO AWESOME! We got to play Halo during break and there's wifi on the whole campus! Also in Algebra 2, they gave HW that was due 4 days later that I could finish in less than 10 minutes! I think I'm gonna be going there from now on. :D 1 small problem though, no Asian people. :( Unlike MSJ, there is like no Asians there! It is kind of awkward...

I MISS MY PARAKEET :(

It's been a week since Courage flew away. My little green parakeet. I really miss him, but he never came back. :( I wish I can see him again. Really! He was my most favorite bird out of my 4 birds! If you see a green, thin looking parakeet with a red metal tag on one of it's legs somewhere in the San Francisco Bay Area, it's probably mine. If you find it, please contact me here!

Are you serious? We pay our taxes so stupid police officers can fire their stupid tasers with out aiming when they are to lazy to run? Dang, dude, I think someone should fire a taser in this officers head just to teach him a lesson! An officers job is to protect people, not to seriously injure someone!

Stupid Google Voice...

Stupid Google Voice texted me twice on my phone. -__- How the hell should I know that I have to uncheck 2 options in 2 different sections in the settings page to cancel out text notifications? I mean, I already unchecked "Send SMS alerts to phone" on the main page. Shouldn't that take care of it?

Now there is going to be a 40 cent text charge on my phone bill this month....

A trip to Yellowstone

My trip to Yellowstone was really fun. :D Well Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Salt Lake City and what ever was on the way. Best 8 days of my life. :) I got around 8 hours of driving experience too. The only problem was my parents made me drive around the speed limit which was 75 MPH while the rest of the cars were driving at least 90 MPH! -__- I was like, look at how many cars passed me now! But they are like no, don't go over 80 MPH, we don't want anything to happen. But lucky for me, I still got to pass a few trucks. XD That was fun. Drove around 600 miles? I think. Well there was no cops on that road. It was all desert and no towns in like 70 miles. What would a cop be doing there? HAHA

Passed a few prisons (I know because I saw signs saying prison area, hitchhiking prohibited). Good place to put a prison, even if the prisoners escaped, they got no where to go. My mom was like extremely worried, kept pulling on my chair to check my speed, which got annoying, so later I didn't even put my head on the head rest, because she kept bouncing my head back and forth which was a really big distraction. My dad was reading stuff off of his iPad and didn't really pay attention. So yeah, helped drive a lot for him. LOL

Also lucky for me, escaped the heat wave at Fremont. :D It was all good. It was around 78°F during the day time and 48°F during the night time. Well night was pretty cold. :\ Good thing I had jackets.

The rest of my trip was good too, saw a lot of views inside Yellowstone and Grand Teton. First day, we lived at Wendover, NV. It was pretty much all driving, so we slept... The next day, we drove to Salt Lake City, visited the Mormon Church (really big church). Never knew Christian beliefs can be so different. Don't like the idea of a prophet though, I still think everyone is equal. No hierarchy system. Salt Lake was cool, but we didn't stay for too long, just took pictures and left. Then we went to Kennecott Copper Mine for a visit. It was cool, took pictures, and we were on our way to Yellowstone.

We got to West Yellowstone really late. Stayed at Three Bears Inn for 2 days. Later we lived in a cabin near Yellowstone Lake. It was good, had a shower and toilet. :D I was afraid there wasn't gonna be one... The views in Yellowstone was good. But it was quite different from when I went there 8 years ago. Some of the hot springs dried up and stuff. And when we went before, we soaked our foot in the hot springs which has no more water now. For Old Faithful, we were so lucky, that geyser shoots up once every hour, we parked got there. Waited 5 minutes and BAM! I video taped the whole thing. :) Wait for my video on my photography blog. I will be posting up the video and pictures from Yellowstone once I'm doing picking them out and touching them up.

We saw a lot of bison in the park. First I took a lot of pictures of the first one I saw. Later they just got plain annoying. We were driving, then we saw a bunch of cars moving slowly, I was like, oh come on, stupid traffic... Once the traffic cleared up a bit, we saw this herd of bison walking slowly on the road. I was like, THIS WAS THE CAUSE FOR THE TRAFFIC? Delayed us for one hour. So after that, when I saw bison, I was like, eh... They are everywhere, no need to take pictures, I got enough. LOL I also video taped part of it... Wait for my video on my photography blog. :D

So after Yellowstone, we went and toured Grand Teton for one day. We stayed at the Elk Refuge Inn in Jackson Hole. Apparently when the French settlers found the place, they called it "The Three Breasts" in French. Teton means Breasts in French. Which means, Grand Teton means Grand Breasts. Grand Breasts National Park. XD That sounds hilarious. And this also proves people back then had the same dirty mind as people now. LOL

So that pretty much sums up my vacation. We lived at Elko, NV for one night, and drove back to Fremont the next day.

Lot's of TVs and harddrvies

So today, my old pair of earphones when I tried to use them, kept falling out of my ear because it was too big (the rubber tip I put on there, I lost my small sized tips), so I went to Fry's Electronics to get a new one. After checking out and leaving the store with my new earphones, there was a person packing stuff into his truck right next to my car. He bought around 15 LCD TVs, around 20 hard drives, a super fast computer or some kind of computer DIY kit, a computer desk chair, and some other stuff. Some Fry's sales associates helped him load everything onto his truck. Weird. o_O 15 LCD TVs and 20 hard drives. What is he planning on doing? LOL Yeah, totally weird. Reminds me of the time I was at Safeway and the guy checking out before me bought $1000 worth of gift cards. HAHA

Oh, and my earphones? They were great. Very good noise cancellation and bass! It's a JVC Micro-HD stereo headphone (JVC HAFXC50B).  :) Good thing I got it, now I can listen to my iPod on the way to Yellowstone. Yes, I'm going to be visiting Yellowstone soon, stayed tuned for pictures. :) Will start posting them once I finish posting my Yosemite pictures and when I finish picking out and touching up them. Wishing I can start over...

Sometimes I wish I can go back in time, back to 7th grade and startover. In 7th grade half way through the year, I noticed I started falling behind, before that I was a happy kid. Nothing I regret doing or happened (ok 1 thing I kinda regret)... Then in 8th grade, that year was terrible, I felt sad, depressed, but I held it in, I pretended to be happy. No one, including my parents, knew I was sad and depressed. In 9th grade,  I fell behind, all the sadness and depression poured out like a bathtub overfilled with water. I really wish I can go back, and warn myself. But wishing is wishing, time travel is impossible as of right now, even if I can go back in time, who knows what damage I might do? LOL But still, I wish I can... I tell myself everyday, God has His plans, I shouldn't feel bad, He will give me something better, He will help me through this. So far He has. He has let me have friends that can help me and talk to me. He has let my friend bring me into Church and for that I am extremely grateful. Positive thinking is the key I think. Something I saw on TV yesterday, it's on this Chinese news channel. That church always advertise there, but something that guy said. He saw this cancer patient pray every morning and thanking God that He has let him have another day of life. If it was me, I'd probably be like kill me, I can't stand it anymore... But yes, positive thinking. It's good for you. Yes, I still kinda wish I can start over, but I'm grateful that I've made it this far without going insane I guess. Praise the Lord! :)

Spam protection activated.

Yes! Blogger activated comment spam protection on 1 of my blogs! (it's my Dark Side blog btw) That means no more comments asking me to buy Viagra! Yes! Those stupid comments were getting very annoying. =__= (BTW, that was the only blog I was getting them on)

And if you are the spammer and is reading this. Why the hell would I want Viagra ok? First of all that's sinful. And secondly, I have no fucking idea on how to swallow pills. When the doctor has to prescribe me meds or something I ask the liquid form! So shut up with the stupid comments. I don't plan on buying them and I never will. So go spam someone else. Also quit spamming my email with this, you're wasting your time anyways, it's going into my SPAM box.

Got my repaired phone back. :D

I got my repaired phone back yesterday, but I didn't have any time to do the blog post so I'm doing it today. If you're wondering why, because Nokia factory resetted my phone and I had to spend time restoring my stuff on there which took hours, but I'm happy with it now. :D The GPS is working again, and you know what else? Nokia maps is free too so now I have like GPS navigation where ever I am (ok maybe not everywhere)! I'm so happy. LOL They even replaced pretty much more than half the phone. See the picture above (you can click for full size)? They pretty much replaced everything except the screen and the battery cover. They didn't replace the camera button or the volume controls but thats ok! They replaced the keyboard, new camera and other stuff. :D Before some of the keys on my keyboard was cracked, but now it's new, it looks a lot better. Thanks Nokia! But I spent $15 shipping it, they gave me a $10 VISA debit card... LOL I don't mind though. They said the problems was because of mechanical problems. Which I suspected.

Well I'm bored somehow I got an idea to write this article. Today I kind of want to talk about friends. And how you can tell if someone is your true friend or not. Over the past few years, I've learned how to distinguish between true friends and people that just want to take advantage of you. I don't have much friends because I'm the kind of person that is usually quite around people I don't know well. (But yes, I get very annoying once I know you well. XD) So the thing is, in the past few years, I've went through a time of hardship and life was hard. My close friends (good friends, friends I really trusted) or people I think were close friends, they knew about this or I told them. But the people I thought were close friends pretty much ditched me maybe because they thought I was weird. I don't know, but those true friends they came and helped me they best they can and I'm really happy and grateful for it. This is a public blog post, so I'm not gonna name any names here. If you're my friend, email or IM me. There was even a few, that took precious time out of their busy schedule to come help me. Some of these friends, I haven't seen in years already, but they still help me. These are true friends. Friends don't have to be close, they can be far away, it doesn't matter. Real friends are people that help you at your time of need I guess. You can't really tell if someone is a friend or not until they try to take advantage. Well, I'm not sure where I'm going with this or why I'm posting this, but something tells me to post it. So here it is. :D

Shortage of USB ports. :\

So today, I got some piano sheet music off of some websites and I needed to print them out. So I went to my parents room, and brought the printer into my room and figured out all 8 of my USB ports is in use. :\ Wow... LOL I managed to free up 1 of the ports after I unplugged my iPod touch... What is filling out my USB ports? The front 2 ports, I have 2 iPods plugged in (my old iPod nano with broken battery, and my iPod touch). In the back is my USB trackball, 2 web cams, my USB card reader (can't remove because I have an SD card plugged in for swap space or extra RAM), a USB extension with a USB hub plugged on (but I can't plug my printer on there because of all the load I already have on that hub even though there is 1 more free port), and the last thing I have plugged on there, I'm not sure, but it's used. I'm not gonna bother going to check, because the wires behind my desk is a mess. LOL! So yeah. Unplugged my iPod touch and I have 1 port for the printer... Yay :D

Sometimes when something happens, I'd be like why does it have to happen, does God hate me? And usually after a while, I'd see why it happens, and I understand.

I finished my 6 hours of behind the wheel training for driving. One step closer to getting my license... Only this lesson wasn't as fun as the ones before... I got this woman instructor today... She only let me drive in the residential area... Last two times, I got a male instructor and I drove all the way to San Jose... So not fun... Also, 3 people honked at me today... Later they saw I was a student driver and their face expressions turned into o_O LOL Fun... Too bad I kinda forgot how to drive on local streets and residential areas since I drove on the empty highway last time... Wish I can drive on the highway again... That was fun...

The reason why I think it was because of me driving on the highway is because, today... Well turning felt awkward (no turning on the highway), I sometimes forgot to break (not much breaking on an empty highway...), and I forget to look at up the traffic signals. XD So that's why people were honking at me. When I stopped I pretty much forgot to go... LOL All 3 times, it was at the traffic lights, I forgot to go.

Right, I never post anything up about driving on the highway... Why not do it now. LOL

Last time I went ot visit Yosemite (which was a few weeks ago) I drove on the highway. 40 miles on the way there and 10 miles on the way back. 20 of the miles was on a semi-mountain highway... That really scared me. The rest was on straight empty 1-2 lane highways... No cars. I know 1 of the highways is highway 88. I drove in parts of Nevada, through hail, and after sunset, which was when I drove the 20 miles of semi-mountain highway. -__- I barely had practice with our own car. Only like 1 hour in the Central Park parking lot. At that time, I've only completed 4 hours of behind the wheel with an instructor. So with our own car, first time out on a public road. XD I was so scared... The route I took was around Yosemite (due to our stupid GPS, extra 60 miles, but it would have taken around the same time to get to our destination).

Waiting for my phone...

The Nokia repair center says they repaired my phone and shipped it out yesterday 8-4-2010. They had a tracking number and I went to track it. It says the service is TWO DAY AIR, but the date when I receieve it is rescheduled to 8-9-2010. That isn't two days! Two days means I receive it on Friday 8-6-2010! Stupid UPS... Can't wait, because the stupid phone I'm using right now is my old Nokia 6126 which is a crap battery inside. =__= It keeps dying on me. I need my phone back... That is kinda why I didn't feel like shipping it out in the first place. Well let's hope everything is ok, and the GPS and FM transmitter is working again. I hate delays...

"INCORRECT ROUTING AT UPS FACILITY" So that's why it's delayed. qq =__=

Nokia repair is pretty fast.

They received my phone on the 2nd and they said it was processing. On the 3rd, they said repairing. And today on the 4th they said shipped repaired original phone. o_O That is fast!

The GPS and FM transmitter on my Nokia N97 better be working... They better have repaired it!

I like how God will never hurt you and how he loves us. I also like every temptation he makes happen is within our limit. Now I think about the past, there was times I wanted to kill myself. Sometimes I'd feel like God hates me, and why I should even pray. Sometimes I'd think, He won't listen, He can't hear me anyways. Always, after that feeling has passed a bit and I kinda come back to my senses, I'd think about what was bothering me. Every time, I see it the other way on around, and really it isn't so bad, sometimes, it's even good! Sometimes I don't at first, but I'd call the Lord's name, and suddenly, it would all make sense. Is there anything more important than living, praising the Lord, and be happy and full of life? No, there isn't!  That's why I liked this verse.

If you are reading this and is feeling bad or depressed, calm down, pray, and you'll feel better. Everything has two sides to it. A bad side and a good side. Nothing in this world has only a bad side and no good side. Plus there is a lot more people that is suffering more than you, and they continue to live, why shouldn't you? If you're reading this, you have internet right? A lot of people don't, you should be happy that you do! Feeling sad is normal, feeling sad always isn't. You can also think about it this way, you've got one life, why spend it feeling sad when you can be happy?

The thing here is, unless it is really time for you to die, God will always have a path for you so that you can continue living. That suicidal or depressed feeling is Satan. If you listen to Satan, then you're screwed. Your job is to calm down, and pray. God will guide you in the right direction, Satan will guide you in the wrong direction.

Praise the Lord! Amen.

Loudness contest...

I played piano for my pet bird again today. He's doing better. :) He kinda sang while I played. The problem was, he probably thought it was a loudness contest, because he sang something totally random and not in tune to the music I was playing, and he tried to sing louder than my piano playing. LOL Funny bird. At least he didn't sleep on my like the first time...

At least he's doing better than yesterday. He sang along. :D LOL Unlike yesterday, he just listened...

Behind the Wheel Driving lesson. :D

I have a behind the wheel driving lesson scheduled on Friday at 2 :D Can't wait! It's my last lesson and after that, my parents get me insured. LOL FUN FUN FUN! HAHA Wish the driving school wasn't so busy, I wanna drive now. >:( Should probably have scheduled earlier.

Playing piano for my pet bird.

Like yesterday, I played piano for my pet bird. He still won't sing a long. :\ But he's doing better. He didn't take a nap on me today. LOL Hope he will learn to sing with me soon. Cuz I'm jealous of those singing cockatiels I see on Youtube and the TV.

BTW, the reason I knew he took a nap on me yesterday was because, I saw him, and after I finished playing, I walked up to him and shouted LEMON (which is his name)! And he immediately jumped and fell of the perch. XD He had his head tucked under his wing sleeping.

Dumb bird.

Today I played piano for my pet birds. Really I was playing for my yellow cockatiel cuz I want him to sing. Instead of singing for me, he took a nap. =__= Dumb bird. Reminds me how my dad always takes a nap in movie theaters. XD

Touched by God

Ever since I came to the US in 2001 I think, a lot of people has tried to get me to go to Church. For example, the pastor of the church across the streets, my close friends and families. Yes, I have been to Awana (this kids church program) a few times, but I never really believed. I think it is because I didn't really want to change. I was one of those Chinese Aethiest/Buddhists. Yes, I used think the past three and a half years of my life has been crap and completely ruined my life, but now I believe Christ and go to church, I think it is all worth it. Without these consequences, why would I head into church? He gave me chances before with all those people trying to convince me, but I never listened. So yes, I'm totally ok with the past three and a half years right now, and I feel like he's helping get my life back on track too! So I think I've learned the lesson here. :) I think God has really touched me. :)

Happiness

For the past three and a half years, I've been severely depressed and get really anxious about small things and I felt like my whole life has been messed up because I'm 1-2 years behind in high school (not that I'm one of those kids who purposely skip school, I'm not that kind of person). Recently, I've been feeling like, I've recovered. I've been feeling really full of life and happiness. Happiness I've never had, but similar to the happiness I've had before depression came. What really helped me I'm sure was going to church and believing into Christ. :) God helped me. Those four Bible verses up there really stood out to me and helped me. Every time when I feel depressed, sad, or uncertainty, I'd call on the Lord's name, and immediately, I'd start feeling better and get a feeling on what I should do! I strongly believe God is there, and he loves us all. So if you are feeling depressed or sad, you can just call on the name of the Lord! How wonderful his name is. :D I still feel a bit uncertain about how my future will be, but I'm no longer that worried for I know the Lord has planned out the best for me. So why be worried right?

Also, thanks to everyone that helped me through this rough time of my life. More importantly, thank the Lord for letting all these friends help me. :) Amen!

Weird call. 怪电话

Weird thing today. I got a call on my phone from the number 1. Yes you heard me right. The number 1. o_O Someone can actually own that number?! This is totally awkward, and I wonder how much times the owner get prank called a day. LOL

今天很怪。我的手机上收到了一个从一电话号码打过来的电话。你听对了。电话号码是一。o_O 有人可以买下来这个电话号码吗？！这个很奇怪。不知道这个人每天要接到多少骚扰电话。哈哈

I made a USB CD LED Desk Lamp! 我做了一个 USB CD 二极管台灯。

Today I made a USB CD LED desk lamp! Not only does it use less power than my original desk lamp, but it gives off clean white light unlike my original desk lamp which gave a yellow-ish light. :D Please tell me how it looks below.The reason I used that much glue is because the disc cracked a lot when I pushed the LED's into the holes I made.

我今天做了一个 USB CD 二极管台灯！它除了比我本来用的电少，它还给白的灯光不像我本来的那个灯，给的亮光有一点黄黄的。:D 请你在底下告诉我看得怎么样。在我把二极管装进去的时候 CD 有点裂开了，所以我只能有很多胶水。

 Let's all go green. :) This is really a double win, because LED take up way less power and I recycled 2 unusable CDs!

On my post about my apple cobber I made (Blog Post here)， I made a 2 funny errors in my Chinese translations. For apple cobbler I accidentally translated it to apple shoemaker (Just took Google Translate's results) XD And for the comments I wrote please comment about this from your grave. Funny mistakes! HAHA. Like I said, I'm not very good with Chinese. I just corrected the mistakes now.
